The Rav-It lift kit was designed for the Toyota Rav4 Third Generation. It was designed to provide 2" of lift for the Rav4 with the V6. Results of the Rav-It lift kit will vary between models but will fit years 2006-2012. The Rav-It lift kit was based on the static resting height of the front and rear coil springs. This is a true suspension lift kit using longer coil springs to accomplish the vehicle lift. No spacers are used in this kit! The new coil springs were also designed with added stiffness over the stock Sport model springs to reduce body roll during corning and provide better towing performance. With the Rav-It lift kit you can install taller more aggressive tires adding additional undercarriage clearance. Installation Notes and Tips: It is recommended the lift kit be installed by a certified mechanic. When installing the rear springs consider flipping the lower shock bolt to ensure it can be removed without dissembling the rear control arm again. This Rav4 was built from the factory without clearance to remove the lower shock bolt. It is also recommend that while the vehicle suspension has been taken apart that the struts and shocks be replaced with higher performance parts than original. Consult with your local Toyota dealership regarding any factory warranty issues with installing the Rav-It lift kit. Due to the strut spring tower being located over the wheel, without a significant offset in wheels a tire larger than 30" tall will rub on the strut. The tire used here is 245/65R17 which 29.5" tall.
